Atlanta +1.5 -1.05 Any thoughts?

I see alot of posts in here that ottawa may be off tonight because of not being paid and Atlanta would be a good bet. I also see in the contest a number of top people picking the under. But Bobby B the UNDER MAN thinks may be a better spot for over. SO is a +1.5 goal a good idea??? Not alot of vig so I don't know.

This seems to be a solid bet to me but would like some of the "experts" Scobby, Bobby B, Northern Ice for your thoughts.

Atlanta is 7-3 against Ottawa with +1.5 goals in the last 10 meetings. I like the Thrashers to win tonight for the value though, not that it capped out as a win. Hopefully Ottawa is distacted having to wait a few days for their pay, I know I would be....but hey I don't make 200 thousand every 2 weeks /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Only one game in their last 6 has been under 5.5, I'm just a sucker for +$ on under 5.5's sometimes.

Not much help, but GL with whatever you choose! Almost even money At +1.5 actually sounds good /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif On another note, I think Atlanta has cost me the most $$ this year /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I really appreciate your response. I have followed you and others in here and you have really rocked!!!!!!!! I am not a large player not alot of dimes in my bank roll but figure
$200-300 +1.5 would make the game fun to watch

That way when the score is Atlanta 4-3 and bobby b's over comes in were all happy

feel the over is much safer than taking the +1.5 esp since can get +05 w/over 6.0 and laying -10 w/+1.5. lalime HGA 1.99 vs nurminen @GA 3.61 is bit scary if taking atlanta. HOWEVER thrashers have covered 5/L8 vs sens. HOWEVER ottawa likes racking up those empty net goals (6 so far this year) and if ahead by 1 goal late i might have to be rooting for the empty-net goal to beat thrasher bettors!

That is why you are the man!! I have been stung a couple of times this year on empty netters for the totals but never thought about it for this game and you make a great point there. Will back off on the bet and go $50 +1.5 to stick with my gut and $100 on the over just so I have something to watch early.

see no value in this game in any direction,, ottawa could win 8-0 or 1-0, or lose 4-3,, i try and see the value in plays, if anything, if i had to bet this one it would be under +++ the $$$$.. just my 2 cents..
